Love is in the air as Irish beauty Pippa O’Connor fends off romantic proposals ahead of the annual Cupid’s Dash 10k fun run in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation on Saturday 11th February.
The national charity fighting heart disease and stroke is urging walkers, joggers and runners to help mend broken hearts in more ways than one, by signing up for the sunset fun run on www.cupidsdash.ie and help raise funds to fight Ireland’s no.1 killer, heart disease and stroke.

Grainne Kennedy, Activity Events Co-ordinator said: “Cupid’s Dash is a great way to have fun, get your heart pumping and support our charity at the same time. This year to add to the romance, the race will take place at sunset so we expect plenty of sparks to fly! For everyone who registers, our charity receives a €5 donation but we are also asking participants to go the extra mile and take sponsorship cards too. Times are very tough and many people do not realise that our charity relies on donations for more than 90 per cent of our income. No matter how small, every donation makes a big difference to our prevention, research and advocacy programmes.”

The 10km romantic run organised by Irishfit will take place at 5pm on North Bull Island, Clontarf, Dublin 3, when hundreds of cupids will walk, run and fly their way to their very own happily ever after.

Sign up today at www.cupidsdash.ie  Registration costs €25 including a €5 donation to the Irish Heart Foundation and free entry to an after-party on the beach. Irish Heart Foundation sponsorship cards are also available from Grainne Kennedy, gkennedy@irishheart.ie or phone (01) 668 5001.
