Irish Heart Foundation appointed Paddy Power's Charity of Year

Paddy Power today announced the appointment the Irish Heart Foundation as their 2012 Charity of the Year.This is the fourth year of Paddy Power’s Charity of the Year initiative and staff will look to raise over €75,000 during the year by supporting existing initiatives and developing their own.

The Irish Heart Foundation aim to improve the cardiovascular health of people living in Ireland so they do not experience disability or die from preventable heart, stroke and other blood vessel diseases.

Paddy Power said “We’re over the moon to have the Irish Heart Foundation on board as our charity of the year, it’s a charity that has touched many lives here in Ireland and everyone here at Paddy Power is looking forward to raising funds for such a worthy cause.”
