Happy Heart Weekend 2012 - May 10 - 12

Can you feel the excitment building for Happy Heart Weekend 2012? We can. Preparations are already in full swing for what is going to be our best Happy Heart Weekend yet!   

What will you do?

Every year thousands of people all over Ireland over May 10, 11 & 12th will lend their hearts to The Irish Heart Foundation.
• Volunteers across the country will hit the streets to collect and sell our Happy Heart’s for €2 each. We will provide you with a fundraising pack, heart badges, and details on local collection points plus you can choose what day(s) you would like to volunteer.
• Raise money for Happy Heart Weekend your own way by registering for our events pack to keep hearts across Ireland happy.
• Raise money while at work and find out ways to make your heart healthy at work
• You can donate online

Where will the money will go in 2012?

Every €2 will help to stop 13 people dying EVERY DAY from heart attack and stroke, through our work in research, prevention, CPR training and awareness campaigns. We also provide vital support and information to patients through our Helpline and support groups.

Almost five years ago (2006) Nick, a graphic designer from Dundrum in Dublin, suffered a massive coronary heart attack.
